5th CoPs Forum
12 October 2020 - 13 October 2020
The WeObserve CoPs Forum #5 was organised as an online event on October 12-13, 2020. The main forum objectives were to:
- Promote fertilisation of knowledge, ideas & insights on Citizen Science and Citizen Observatories across the 4 WeObserve Communities of Practice
- Start process of capturing the ‘WeObserve way’ of consolidating knowledge on citizen science via Communities of Practice
- Finalize collecting the findings of the Interop-CoP and compile them in the Engineering Report.
In order to make this a fruitful and productive experience, partcipants were able to work in short sprints with concrete objectives (decided a-priori or at the beginning of the sprint) whilst separate sessions took place, with opportunities to work alone on some aspects of the discussions and obligation to report progress back in the reporting back session.
Overall, the event was made up of 3 distinct online sessions as presented below:
