SUMMARY:5th CoPs Forum
DESCRIPTION:The WeObserve CoPs Forum #5 was organised as an online event on October 12-13\, 2020.  The main forum objectives were to: \n\nPromote fertilisation of knowledge\, ideas & insights on Citizen Science and Citizen Observatories across the 4 WeObserve Communities of Practice\nStart process of capturing the ‘WeObserve way’ of consolidating knowledge on citizen science via Communities of Practice\nFinalize collecting the findings of the Interop-CoP and compile them in the Engineering Report.\n\nIn order to make this a fruitful and productive experience\, partcipants were able to work in short sprints with concrete objectives (decided a-priori or at the beginning of the sprint) whilst separate sessions took place\, with opportunities to work alone on some aspects of the discussions and obligation to report progress back in the reporting back session. \nOverall\, the event was made up of 3 distinct online sessions as presented below:  \n\n\n\nTime\nDescription\n\n\nMonday 12\, October\n\n\n13:00-14:00\nWelcome \nWelcome; objectives & detailed agenda for the online event; Tour de Table; Quick updates from each CoP\n\n\n14:00-14:30\nCoffee break\n\n\n14:30-16:00\nSprint One \nCross CoPs Fertilisation: Table issues in Citizens Science and grab the speaker’s corner box\n\n\nTuesday 13\, October\n\n\n10:00-10:15\nWelcome \nWelcome & agenda for the day; Reporting on Day 1\n\n\n10:15-12:00\nSprint Two \nCross CoPs paper: outline & feedback \nInterop CoP: Writing the Engineering Report\n\n\n12:00-14.00\nLunch break \n\n\n14:00-15:30\nSprint Three \nCross CoPs paper: survey design\n\n\n \nInterop CoP: Activities for the 3rt phase of the IE\n\n\n15:30-16:30\nPlenary reporting back from Sprints\, Future CoPs host & Wrap up \n\n\n\n
