SUMMARY:CitSci 2019
DESCRIPTION:In 2019\, citizen science.org celebrates and explores the deep roots and broad branches that form the strong core of this field and invites you to be part of their growing Family Tree by bringing your ideas and questions to CitSci2019. \nJoin citizen science.org on March 13-17th in Raleigh\, NC – the City of Oaks – to connect with other leaders and learners from many backgrounds. \n\nRegister in CitSci2019 here\n\nAccording to the conference’s schedule\, there will be three special tracks: \nProblem-driven Citizen Science – confronting challenges to collecting the data\, and building the trust\, needed to address specific management questions. \nEnvironmental Justice – data collection to improve human and environmental health\, discussed by community-based organizations and engaged partners. \nEducation – planned for educators\, by educators\, exploring citizen science both in classrooms and out-of-school. \nThe Preliminary Program is now available here. \nIf you find it interesting and you would like to contribute in CitSci2019 Conference\, the following opportunities are still open to share your work: \nCall for Posters: Rolling submissions \nPoster proposal submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis through early 2019.
